Support Us
For a Burmese refugee woman, WEAVE offers her a path of opportunities so that she is free to exercise her rights and to encourage her toward self-determination. For a Burmese refugee child, WEAVE provides him a multitude of programs as an avenue to an education and protection. WEAVE aims to find solutions to help one woman and one child at a time. For over a decade, we have been committed to ensuring that their basic needs are met. Are you willing to be a part of our solution?
HOW YOU CAN HELP
If you’re looking for unique and meaningful ways to contribute and to get involved, WEAVE offers several options for you to help us reach our mission and goals. Lend us your talents by volunteering at one of our beautiful sites in Thailand, giving you the opportunity to delve deeper into communities where your expertise is most needed. If it’s too difficult to get away and offer your time, but you would still like to contribute, you can make a donation to assist in the development of one of our programs.
DONATIONS
WEAVE continually seeks funding in order to expand and develop our programs. If you would like to be a part of our mission by making a donation or to inquire about funding opportunities please contact Mitos Urgel at mitos@weave-women.org
VOLUNTEERS
WEAVE always seeks volunteers to take part in helping with our various projects. For longer term projects, we are seeking for volunteers with relevant skills and experiences particularly individuals with a social science, education, public health or development background. Students requiring field experience from overseas are welcome to apply. Volunteer placements are available according to program needs. If you only have a few days, walk in or short term volunteers are always in need! If you’re interested in a long or short term volunteer position please use the contact form with the subject line as VOLUNTEER.
